Justin is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Marine Corps veteran. During his time in the Marine Corps, Justin served multiple overseas deployments, where he developed discipline, leadership and resilience that now shape his approach to performance training and coaching.
Following his military service, Justin graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder and began his career in strength and conditioning, working with D1 athletes at the University of Colorado. He has since expanded his experience to tactical athletes working with firefighters and fire recruits in academy settings, high school athletes, and everyday athletes focused on improving performance, health, and longevity.
Justin believes that anyone committed to improving their physical performance is an athlete. Justin’s coaching philosophy is the same for all athletes: master the basics, be disciplined, and train with integrity. With a strong passion for human performance and longevity, Justin focuses on developing athletes who are not only strong and explosive, but also durable and resilient. His programming is designed to improve strength, movement efficiency, and work capacity in ways that translate beyond the gym. Whether for sport, profession or everyday life.
Outside of coaching, Justin’s training regularly consists of strength work with endurance training. Having competed a handful of endurance races and completed several rigorous physical endeavors while in the military. He understands the importance training with intent. This allows him to have a deep understanding and relate to the clients he works with to prepare them for their performance and real world demands.
