Originally from New Jersey, Carla earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Syracuse University in 2010 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2013. She began her career at NYU Langone, where she specialized in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation and worked in the renowned Running Lab. She later continued her work at Boston Children’s Hospital before relocating to Denver in 2019. Most recently, she spent several years at Steadman Hawkins Clinic, treating a wide range of sports and orthopedic injuries.
A lifelong runner with a deep passion for movement and performance, Carla is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Her treatment philosophy combines manual therapy with targeted therapeutic exercise, all grounded in the latest research and insights gained through years of professional experience. She emphasizes identifying and correcting faulty movement patterns to improve overall function and enhance performance. Carla plays an integral role at SOVRN, delivering thoughtful, industry-leading care and developing highly individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Outside of work, Carla enjoys spending time with her husband, one-year-old son, and dog, Bodhi. As a family, they love getting outdoors for hikes, ski days, or neighborhood walks.
